New options with SONICUE 1.4 for MXE network security and segregation

Today's professional audio systems are increasingly network-based, making network security essential. In the SONICUE ecosystem, which consists of Dynacord electronics including amplifiers, audio matrices, control panels and software, the MXE5-64 Matrix Mix Engine is the central audio processing and control hub. To help IT administrators and installers meet both the increasing network security requirements and convenience demands from the end users, we have created an Application Note.

Based on an example, this document illustrates how SONICUE control devices can be effectively segregated into their own dedicated VLANs. Additionally, it explains how to apply Access Control Lists (ACLs) precisely to protect systems with internet connectivity.
