Cooperation between two renowned German pro audio brands
- From February 2026, Dynacord IPX, TGX und IX Series power amplifiers will complement existing amp models at Kling & Freitag
- SONICUE Sound System Software enables comprehensive system control and the creation of optimized loudspeaker settings for Kling & Freitag loudspeakers
- The cooperation offers new market opportunities for both companies
Straubing/Hanover, Feb 2026 – The two renowned professional audio manufacturers Kling & Freitag and Dynacord have agreed on a close cooperation. Starting in February 2026, Kling & Freitag loudspeaker systems will be powered as standard by Dynacord amplifiers. In focus are Dynacord’s networked DSP amplifier series IPX, TGX and IX, which are characterized by high power capacity, energy efficiency and seamless system integration. Advanced amplifier technologies such as ecoRAIL, ghostPOWER and powerTANK ensure energy-efficient, uninterrupted operation and flexible power utilization.
The decision is based on extensive internal testing, during which Dynacord amplifiers impressed under a wide range of operating conditions with outstanding sound quality, precise control and high operational reliability.
“Dynacord amps deliver exactly what we expect from a modern system drive – enough headroom, first-class signal processing and maximum flexibility. In extensive tests, the amplifiers powered our loudspeaker systems with exceptional precision, dynamics and great handling which convinced us,” comments Christoph Woehler, Product Manager at Kling & Freitag GmbH.
Fredi Palm, Sales Field Engineer for Dynacord and Electro-Voice, adds: “The cooperation with Kling & Freitag confirms that our amplifier portfolio is both technology-leading and ideally suited as a system drive for demanding loudspeaker systems. At the same time, this partnership opens new market opportunities for both companies, offering sound system solutions that provide planners and system integrators with long-term reliability, energy efficiency and outstanding audio performance.”
IPX und TGX Series – the flagship solutions for large applications
The IPX multi-channel amplifiers for fixed installations and the TGX Series for live sound rank among the most powerful system drives for medium to large applications. Delivering up to 20,000 watts from a single amplifier, featuring integrated 96 kHz DSP, Dante audio and OCA/AES70 control, and full integration with the SONICUE Sound System Software, both series offer maximum performance, reliability and flexibility.
IX Series – versatile all-rounders for modern soundscapes
The networked IX Series DSP amplifiers are designed as multifunctional system drives for a wide range of applications. The five models are available in 4- and 8-channel versions with power ratings from 1,500 to 6,000 watts. An integrated 96 kHz DSP with matrix mixer, FIR-Drive, Dynacord studio-quality effects and Dante break-ins ensures precise and professional signal processing. In addition, the automation and integration features allow for stand-alone operation.
SONICUE Sound System Software – intuitive operation and control
IPX and IX amplifiers can be entirely configured, controlled and monitored via the SONICUE Sound System Software. The current software release 1.5.1 includes a Speaker Database Creator, enabling the creation of custom loudspeaker settings for Dynacord amplifiers and DSPs. With SONICUE Control, customized user interfaces can be created for desktop PCs, iOS devices or wall panels. A powerful Task Engine allows the implementation of complex system logic without any programming skills.
